Tesla hasn't opened this up yet — here's where things stand
There's no official way for outside buyers to purchase or fund a Cybercab fleet through Tesla right now. This page will update the moment that changes.
What's actually confirmed as of September 2026: on September 3, 2026, Tesla published an interest form asking businesses whether they'd want to buy and run their own Cybercab fleets — a "Cybercab Fleet Purchase Program."1 That's market research, not a sales channel: no pricing, fleet-size minimums, financing terms, or timeline have been announced, and analysts have flagged it as such.23
So what do I actually do right now?
Two things, neither of which requires Tesla to open anything:
- Go solo (Path A): you can already get exposure today — TSLA stock is the direct way in, no fleet program required. See How to Invest for how we think about that path.
- Pool and get ready (Path B): this is what we did — form your own LLC with people you trust, get capital and an operating agreement in place, and be ready to move the moment Tesla opens a real fleet-purchase channel. Same page walks through the steps.
Read Overview for the numbers behind why we think the fleet-ownership model is worth being ready for, and The Cybercab for what the vehicle itself actually is.
